This week’s adventure: a long walk to my father’s hometown, and another one back. Both walks turned out to be longer than I’d anticipated, even though I took a shorter route on my return journey, but the fall colours in southwestern Ontario are stunning and the weather was glorious. I have lots to think about as I return to Saskatchewan today.

Beautiful
I was surprised by the colours and the mature trees. I knew they were there—I’ve seen them—but I had somehow forgotten them.
Beautiful fall colours! The weather cooperated for you as well. Perfect! Geoff
It could not have been better. The frost and mist yesterday morning, and the warmth later on—if I had called ahead and ordered the perfect walking weather, I couldn’t have asked for better.
